The three main objectives of this action research project will be achieved through activities leading to seven outcomes listed below. Click for a more detailed schedule of the activities, outcomes and objectives.

Outcome 1: Farmers and other stakeholders in agriculture better understand their own and other key actors’ situations and strategies relating to climate change and variability.

Outcome 2: Information, training and product demands for strengthening climate change & variability adaptation strategies of different stakeholders identified and shared.

Outcome 3: Farmers’ and other stakeholders’ capacity to adapt to climate change/ variability enhanced through improved access, understanding and decision making/ analytical skills.

Outcome 4: Public and private sector service provision processes related to adapting to climate change/ variability assessed and implications identified.

Outcome 5: Non-farmer stakeholders’ capacity to adapt to climate change/ variability enhanced through improved access, understanding and decision making/analytical skills

Outcome 6: Impact of project activities on primary beneficiaries (eg women, resource poor and vulnerable groups) and service providers/ policy actors assessed by key stakeholders.

Outcome 7: Scaling up processes for improved strategies to adapt to climate change/ variability strengthened by key stakeholders.
