Mr. Mwanga is a Tanzanian socio-economist with more than 12 years professional experience in the projects focal areas of the Central and Southern Highlands Zones of Tanzania. He has been involved in a number of collaborative research projects, including:
- Delivering a Training of Trainers Course to Sokoine University Scientists on Livelihood approaches, Gender and Participatory approaches (TARP II-SUA and FAO-LinKS project, 2005)
- Comparative Analysis between farmer centered organizations(FCOs) and public service providers with respect to post harvest service provision (DFID/ PHILA project, 2005)
- Testing and Pioneering: Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation System in District Communication Strategies (CPP-NRI/DFID project, 2003-04)
- Team leader: Multidisciplinary Action Oriented Research on Gender, Agro-biodiversity and Local Indigenous Knowledge Systems for enhanced understanding among development workers (FAO-LinKS/DRD project, 2003-04)
- Training of District and Ward Facilitators for Iramba, Urambo, Ulanga and Korogwe districts on PRA and sub project preparation (PADEP, 2004-2005)
