Dr. Liwenga has done many research on agricultural, poverty alleviation and livelihoods in rural areas at national and regional scales. Has accumulated knowledge in undertaking research, training and consultancy services on natural resources assessment and management.

Currently she had been involved in a number of research projects or programmes that address climate change and variability impacts and adaptations. Have attended a number of national, region and international workshops addressing areas of her expertise.

Project role/responsibility:To develop appropriate research methodologies, coping strategies analysis, research into climate change impacts, vulnerability and adaptations, and indigenous knowledge.
